Rev. Damon T. Colvin

Reverend Colvin is a lifelong resident of Rock Island, IL, where he graduated from Rock Island High School.  Rev. Colvin attended the Black Hawk College, the University of Illinois, and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Management.

Reverend Colvin gave his life to Christ at the age of 14.  He accepted his call to the Ministry in 2012 under the tutelage of Pastor Joseph D. Williamson, III and preached his initial sermon on January 28, 2013.  He is a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Ministry Advisor, New Member’s Class instructor, Men’s Ministry Instructor and graciously fills in for Pastor Williamson in any capacity that Pastor and the Lord sees fit.  He has also served as an Usher, Choir member, Deacon, Youth Director, and Assistant Superintendent of the Sunday School.

Reverend Colvin currently is the Branch Manager at CBI Bank & Trust in Davenport, IA and is an Assistant Sophomore and Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Rock Island High School where he has been coaching since 2000, mentoring hundreds of players in life, sports, and faith. 

Reverend Colvin is married to his high school and college sweetheart, the lovely Chantill Colvin and has one daughter, Chanel Colvin.  He is the son of Deacon Hewell and Deaconess Joyce Colvin, and the brother of Brandon Colvin. 

Reverend Colvin most wants to be known as a child of God and a servant in the ministry of the Lord who through his life and ministry is connecting people to Jesus, edifying the body, and glorifying the Lord.
